Study Abroad Application Process
1. Create a Study Abroad account online or Login to your account. To begin exploring the opportunities available through this service, you must first create an account by providing us with a valid email address and password. Please note that these are NOT your regular Purchase College userID and password – the ID (email address) and password you provide are only for use on this site.

Purchase Exchange Programs (online application, meeting with Director of OIPS required)

Affiliated Programs (SUNY Programs: apply through SUNY campuses' study abroad sites or with SUNY study abroad common application)

4. Meet with your Academic Advisor to determine which programs will provide you with transfer credit you can use toward your academic degree at Purchase College.
5. Apply online for Purchase College Approval to Study Abroad.
6. After you are notified of "Approval" to Study Abroad from the Study Abroad Office. Apply to your chosen program according to the specific program application instructions.
7. When you have been accepted to your study abroad or exchange program, notify the Study Abroad Advisor, complete all required enrollment forms online, and follow pre-departure instructions.
8. Once you are Abroad, be sure to update your online Study Abroad account with your overseas contact information.
