International Volunteer and Intern Programs

Volunteer and Internship Opportunities

  • These programs have not all been reviewed and approved by Purchase College
  • These programs will not typically offer students academic credit, unless they are affiliated with an institution of higher education
  • Students are required to fully review these programs to determine if these programs are appropriate for your needs
  • Many students seek options to engage in alternative learning experiences while abroad.

International Volunteer and Internship opportunities are fantastic ways to immerse yourself in a local culture abroad, while working in or serving a host community. A variety of programs make it possible for Purchase students to obtain academic credit for such endeavors.

SUNY Programs & Partnerships

While a number of these programs are accredited and can offer Purchase students credit for their intern or volunteer (service learning) experiences, SUNY schools offer a number of choices for experiential overseas programs as well. Purchase students have access to any of the SUNY schools' programs abroad. Many SUNY schools partner with intern and volunteer abroad organizations, and send students on non-traditional programs worldwide.
